Compact but increased cabinet volume and driver size for even potency, the wharfedale DIAMOND 12.2 offers more than a normal standmount or bookshelf as it embodies the history of wharfedale DIAMOND series.
This model is also perfect for the more larger rooms in your household and fits well with 2-channel hi-fi systems, the DIAMOND 12 features a high-performance 150mm Klarity driver for extended, tight bass and a superb 25mm woven polyester dome tweeter for open and smoothly extended high frequencies. 
Klarity Affords focus  NEW Klarity cone material, which was made from a blend of polypropylene and mica adds sturdiness to the model to reduce flexing, to enable a lightweight cone with high rigidity, low colouration and lightning-fast response.
Low Colour and Expression  The Klarity cone is fitted with a low-damping surround, which gives both low colouration and expressive dynamics. As by simulating many different kinds of cone shapes and adding ribs, more support is provided, a falt curve was achieved without restoring to a high damping surround, thereby striking the ideal balance. 
A Magnet Of Forces  A precision-made magnet system with an aluminium compensation ring to minimise the effect of variations in inductance as the voice coil travels. This contributes to a laack of distortion and intermodulation generated by the motor system.    Specification
